Trade Council Update The annual Joint Committee meeting of the US-Vietnam Bilateral Trade Agreement was held in Washington the week of May 17th. Josette Shiner, Deputy USTR chaired for the US side and Vice Minister of Trade Luong Van Tu chaired for the Vietnamese. In preparation for this joint committee meeting, the U.S.-Vietnam Trade Council submitted a letter of request to USTR for a meeting with our members. In addition, the following documents were submitted to USTR;
