Former Deputy USTR, Ambassador Richard Fisher Visits Vietnam

The U.S.-Vietnam Trade Council was pleased to host the visit of USVTC Advisory Board  Member Ambassador Richard Fisher to Vietnam.  During his visit, Ambassador Fisher met with Prime Minister Phan Van Khai, Deputy Prime Minister Vu Khoan, and Minister of Trade Truong Dinh Tuyen.  While in Ho Chi Minh City, Ambassador Fisher also conducted workshops with members of the Ho Chi Minh City Bar Association. 

Ambassador Fisher is former Deputy U.S. Trade Representative and was instrumental in the successful conclusion of negotiations on the U.S.-Vietnam Bilateral Trade Agreement (BTA).
